1. Who we are

Royal Games Portal (royalgamesportal.com) is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about anything privacy-related at info@royalgamesportal.com. We process data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The data we collect

2.1 Electronic identification data

When you visit the Site our servers and the services we use automatically record technical information: your IP address, device type and model, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, language settings, referring page, the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Our anti-abuse technology also records browser characteristics and interaction timing so that we can distinguish people from automated traffic.

2.2 Interaction with partner sites

When you click a link to a casino we record that a click took place and, where the operator reports it back to us, whether a registration or deposit followed. This information is aggregated and pseudonymous — we receive counts and referral identifiers, not your name or account details.

2.3 Information you give us

If you email us we keep your email address, your message and our reply for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of it.

• receive the data you provided in a portable format;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
• complain to the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.

6. Retention

Server logs and security signals are kept for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 26 months. Referral records are kept for as long as necessary to reconcile commission with our partners and to meet accounting obligations, typically six years. Correspondence is kept for two years after the matter is closed. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

7. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Access to systems that hold personal data is limited to people who need it, protected by strong authentication, and logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Who we share data with

• Service providers that host the Site, provide security screening, analytics and email, acting on our instructions under contract.
• Advertising platforms such as Google and Meta, for campaign measurement, subject to your cookie choices and their own privacy policies.
• Casino operators and affiliate networks, which receive pseudonymous referral identifiers so that registrations can be attributed.
• Authorities and advisers where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell personal data.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers store or process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on an adequacy decision made by the UK government, so that your data receives equivalent protection.
